What size/shape electrical box is needed? Standard depth is1.5 inches but the lantern's base is not that deep so it wouldn't be flush to the wall.


This light is designed to connect to a 3.5" or 4" electrical box. The base connects to the screw mounts of the electrical box and covers the outside surface.
