Ridiculous top. Can't open even with the instructions given on other questions, no matter how I try to pry it open. Live too far from Lowe's to return


I am sorry for the experience that you had with this packaging. Here are the opening instructions direct from the pail manufacturer that may be helpful: Break the tab. Grab the bottom lip of the lid where the break tab was. Pull on the bottom lip of the lid to peel the lid off. Snap lid back in place for reuse. Be sure to pull on the lid where the break tab was. If you try to pull in another area, you are pulling on the pail not the lid. Please feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions. 1-800-844-2022
