If I only use half a fuel cell one day, can I still use it a few days/weeks/months later if I don't work for a while? Do i just leave it in the gun?

Remove it, replace the safety cap and it will not deplete. Use the opportunity to put a small amount of rubber or vinyl restorative on the soft bits to keep them fresh and supple over a long period of non-usage.

Your environment may play a part. But as a standard practice I would remove the cell, put the protective cap back on and mark it to make note it is a partial cell. It will not deplete. If you're going to leave the gun unused for long you might use a restorative on the rubber hose where you can reach to keep it fresh and supple. It's the soft bits that will break down first in this gun.

Yes you can, but do not leave the fuel cell in the nailer. Before you use it again, check the expiration date at the bottom of the fuel cell.
