can i install hardie siding with the paslode 2in hot dipped nails


Only with a hammer and they may pull back thru. A nail gun will shoot right thru Hardi. You would use a roofing nail and or roofing nailer

No, this nail heads are to small and the hardie board will break, a framing nailer has to much power. You need to use hot dip coil roofing nails. Don't forget to get saw blades made for Hardie board, Hardie board will destroy a normal blade in a few cuts.
