No this is not the correct part number for your Stihl MS170 If your saw runs a .050 Chain Gauge then the correct part number is 557502 However if your chain gauge is .043 we don't make a combo for this then you will need Chain Part# 90PX055G Then Bar Part # 164MLEA074
