Generally speaking there aren't any faucets for kitchen applications that still have the old-fashioned washers. What you may be experiencing is an occasional piece of calcium that breaks loose from inside your pipes, or even a small piece of gravel that gets past every filter and lodges temporarily in your valve. I have had this happen even though my water system is equipped with a softener and internal filter. A quick full-blast off and on cycle or two usually knocks any debris out. You should also then take the aerator off the faucet and clean it out, since that is where anything that gets dislodged is going to end up.
