Is the handle plastic or metal?

Hello and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Yorkshire Stainless 1-Handle Deck-Mount Pull-Out Handle Kitchen Faucet (Deck Plate Included) is manufactured with both metallic and non-metallic components. This is done to comply with the lower lead limits imposed in 2010 by California and Vermont. Legislation went into effect in January, 2014, the 2011 Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act that made these lower limits mandatory in all 50 states. The on/off handle is metallic and the pull-out sprayer has both metallic and non-metallic components. Our product specialists are available for pre-purchase, installation and warranty assistance; please call us at 1-800-289-6636. We are currently available Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 5:30 pm Eastern Time.
