Could the plastic parts of this unit be damaged (peel or scratch) easily by cleaning products.

General cleaning instructions for Chrome would be a damp cloth and mild liquid dishwashing soap followed by rinsing with water and drying with a soft cloth. Most common household cleaners can be used, when used in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions for use. However, all cleaners should be rinsed off thoroughly with water immediately after cleaning your faucet. Avoid using any harsh cleansers or pads/sponges that are unsafe for polished metallic surfaces. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call us at 800-289-6636.
