How strong is it?

Hello, When I tried installing it myself the bar did not hold very securely. Since I'm a woman in her later seventies, I decided to ask a young man to give it a try. When the gentleman much stronger than I put it in place it feels as secure as my metal bar that screws into the tile. It needs a good amount of pressure to get a great seal. The reason I purchased it is that the metal bar is not in 'just the right spot' for exiting the tub. This is a wonderful product.

The product is very strong and the suction has remained tight since December 2010.
