Re-tiling shower floor. Removed old ceramic tiles ran a grinder to smooth. Exposed area now mix concrete & old thin set. Can I apply this product?


Thank you for your inquiry regarding Mapei products! As long as your floor is down to a "residue", which it sounds like it is, you can apply the Mapei Aqua Defense, 2 coats, let dry, and then use a polymer modified thin set to install your tiles.
