I thought lavender is edible?!


Hi! We grow our lavender for ornamental purposes. The lavender is not intended for human or animal consumption. We hope this helps!

There are different types of English lavender. This variety is Lavandula angustifolia, which can be used in cooking in either fresh or dried forms. However, Lavender from garden centers, florists or nurseries may have been treated with pesticides which aren't safe for edible crops.
