Your instructions say to use const. adhesive on bottom to install. If I use mortar, will it void warranty?

The installation guide states Mortar Bed: If desired, lay a plastic film on wood subfloors to prevent water absorption OR Construction Adhesive: Apply a generous amount of construction adhesive to the bath feet or base.
