I have a 4amp and a 5 amp 80 volt battery for my Kobalt mower , Can they be used with this chain saw ?


Hello Donald. If all the units are from the Kobalt 80V line then the batteries are interchangeable. While the 4Ah and 5Ah battery is physically compatible, a 2.0Ah or 2.5Ah battery does allow for better balance, and control. You will also feel much less fatigue with the lower ampere-hour (Ah) batteries due to the weight.
