Hello there. Please be advised all chainsaws will leak oil. This is often from the residue that is left on the bar/chain from use. We advise wiping down the chain/saw after each use, storing the unit with as little oil as possible, storing it flat with a rag under it. We also suggest loosening the oil cap slightly to relieve and built up pressure. However, the best way to guarantee oil will not leak is to store the unit with little to no oil inside the oil reservoir. We hope this helps.
