The specs state that the light is dimmable. How does that function with this item?


Hello Mary, this fan comes with non dimmable light bulbs. However, you can replace the light bulbs with dimmable ones, and add a receiver/remote to the fan. This will allow you to operate the fan and lights, including dimming the lights. Just make sure that you do not exceed the maximum wattage, which you can find on the light sockets.
