What is the maximum wire size you can fit in this?


I see two options. You can install pin connectors on the ends of each 3/0 conductor that reduce the size to #3, but this usually is a special order connecter and requires a special tool that must be rented and shipped to you through a distributor. The second option is to install a junction box adjacent to the loadcenter and splice the 3/0 conductors to #3 conductors that will fit in the lugs of the breaker.

Would need to get a double gang box with 1 inch opening adaptable to conduit. But even then it would be very tight
