GE Profile 30-in 4 burners Black Smart Compatible Induction Cooktop with Bridge Element
Does the induction cooktop has the downdraft vents? What's the difference between the electric and induction cooktop?

Hi - we’re glad you reached out! We can confirm that this model does not have a downdraft vent built in. -- Induction cooking uses a high-frequency induction coil below the cooktop's smooth surface that heats the cookware using a magnetic field. Induction cooking is the only cooking method that directly uses the cookware as a part of the cooking system. This induction cooktop is electric. -- In comparison, more traditional radiant burners cook by conduction (direct transfer of heat from the ceramic cooktop to the pan). We hope this is helpful and please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. All the best! Lauren@GEAppliances
