Why do the specs say that this product is not for use in kitchens or baths? What about the formula makes it different than the k+b version?


Thank you for the question. The Kitchen & Bath version of GE Advanced Silicone is formulated to provide better protection from bacteria, mold, and mildew in bath and shower environments. This is not the case with exterior, Window & Door sealants. This does not mean you cannot use it if you so desire, keeping the difference in mind.
