can tis be used on drain pipe between black pipe and castiron?

We don't normally recommend using Flex Seal products on Cast Iron as the metal needs a maintained oily surface at all times to protect the product and the finish. The oil will affect the adhesion of the Flex Paste over time. Let us know if you have any other questions we can help you with.
