can an outfeed extension be installed on this saw


Yes, but it is DIY. Search for a outfeed table for dewalt saws on instructables. I built one for this saw and it works great.

The saw has a narrow ripping fence that can be used to support work that extends beyond the saw. If necessary, you can use a push stick or block to feed materials to be cut.

Nope. This saw has no such attachment OR mounting area for one (no holes for an add-on one, etc.). I love this saw, though, and just use my kids for material support.
