Will the DCB207 battery that came with my drill work with this?


Your 2 amp battery will run the saw if you need to make just a few light cuts. The battery will over heat and shut itself off if you do too many cuts in a row. It then has to cool down before you are use it or recharge it. You really need a larger 4, 5 or 6 amp battery if plan to really USE this saw.
