is noise or chatter normal when using number 2 setting


Yes it is. Should not be extreme.

No it is not. An impact driver chatters once the driving action encounters resistance.....but a drill does not. Make sure that when you slept the number 2 speed....the selector switch is fully pushed. If the switch is in between settings it will chatter. Also twist the torque collar near the bit....maybe it's set too low. Hope this helps
