What type batteries are in a light? Are they replaceable?


From this answer I was to believe the batteries are lithium-ion. I was disappointed when I brought the product home to discover they are in fact Ni-Cad batteries.

2 AA rechargeable batteries.

The batteries are "aa" size, there are two. They are easily replaced, Lowe's sells the replacement batteries.

good rechargable AA batteries. Those supplied have 700 mAHr of power. Good AA can have 2200 mAHr or more.

They are the lithium ion batteries and are easily replaceable. You just pull of the solar cap and they are right there. You do not have to take the whole light off the post.
