The caps are tarnished due to the weather. Is there a safe way to remove the tarnish?


Alfred, to remove an already tarnished finish, remove the old coating with mineral spirits. For a mirror-finish, apply a car wax or spray with clear lacquer or polyurethane and let dry, then apply a car wax. To maintain the shiny look, apply a car wax every 3 to 6 months. -Your Deckorators Team
