How do you open to change batteries?


The top rotates 1/8-th of a turn and then lifts off. There should be a strip of paper under the battery compartment that you will need to remove.

The top rotates about 1/8 turn and then lifts off. There's a battery compartment there, just like a remote control. You'll see all of this when you first install them, because you have to remove the top and take out a strip of paper from the battery compartment that is only there for shipping.
