I have purchased four of these lights and not a single one works. They get ample light.


I am sorry to hear that. Make sure that the strip between the battery and the battery carrier is removed, so that the battery can make contact. You must then let it charge in the sunlight for 24 hours. If it still doesn't work at that point, please call Deckorators customer service at 800-556-8449.

Have you removed the safety strip from the inside of the light? This strip simply pulls out to allow the battery to make contact with the battery carrier. Twist the light top from the base in a counterclockwise direction, pull the strip out of the light and then reinstall the light top to the bottom section in a clockwise direction. Allow the light to fully charge in the sunlight or other light source and the light will turn on when the solar panel on the top of the light is covered or as it gets dark. This process is covered in the paperwork packed with the light in the original box.
