How do you replace the rechargeable battery after it wears out? We have to change our solar walkway batteries about every other year.

All you have to do is unscrew the top by twisting it counter clockwise a quarter of a turn. It should then pop off. You will find a battery compartment in the top part. Just take those batteries out and replace them rechargeable batteries. Put the top back on and you are good to go!
