Is the battery already inside component? Ive had mone in the florida sunshine for 3 days now and still no lights.

You will need to remove the cap, by twisting it a quarter of a turn and pulling it off the base. You will then have to remove the paper from the battery compartment so the batteries can make contact. That should make them work!
