We recommend using an exterior grade construction adhesive. Apply the adhesive to the inside of the cap, and place the cap firmly over the top of the post.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I wouldn't screw them on - they might split. Just throw some caulk or liquid nails under it and it won't go anywhere.
