Was this Answer Helpful ?the number of screws per pound varies by the length of the screw and the screw gage. Shorter/thinner screws weigh less so you get more of them per pound than longer/thicker screws which weigh more. 1-1/4" #7 screws about 225 in a pound, 3" #8 screws about 70 in a pound.
