Building a platform for two 275 gallon water tanks. My plan calls for 48 screws, each supporting 95.6 pounds. What is shearing weight of screws?


I have used these screws in many applications. For decking, they are excellent. My experience with anything structural has not been so good. For example I used them to secure railing on a playhouse platform. Several of them broke. In my opinion even a modest amount of flex from wind or varying weight can cause them to fail over time.
