Can you paint this with Enamel paint?

Thank you for posting your inquiry. As indicated on the product package label and supporting product literature: "Allow caulk to dry at least 2 hours (longer in cool or humid conditions) before painting with latex or oil-based paints." Please be aware that oil-based primers/paints do not afford flexibility, for this reason, if the joint where the sealant expands/contracts (flexing the sealant), these coatings may crack. If joint movement is expected, the use of a flexible acrylic-latex primer/paint would be preferred/recommended. Should you have any additional questions or require further assistance, please contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.
