Bondo Brown Interior/Exterior Color-Changing , Heavy Duty , Waterproof , Fiberglass resin repair 32 Fluid ounce(s)
Can I use this product and the cloth matting to repair a two inch hole on a fiberglass pontoon that is attached to a floating cabin?

Yes, a waterproof epoxy and fiberglass. I have used regular Bondo formula to repair holes in shower and tub tile backer of many types and resetting ceramic fixtures to same. Waterproof, never a call back!
Was this Answer Helpful ?I don't know where all of the "will turn to putty" comments are coming from. Bondo putty and filler would "turn to putty" when exposed to water, however, this is epoxy resin. It will NOT turn to putty as it is 100% waterproof. Epoxy resin, along with fiberglass cloth and matting, is what a fiberglass boat is built with. This product, along with fiberglass cloth, would be the PERFECT product for the fiberglass repairs in question.
