does it contain wax


per 3M Product support: "All of the 3M Bondo Fiberglass Resins contain wax and are therefore considered to be a finishing resin."

If it didn't have wax it would say laminating resin. So yes it has wax. You should sand each coat before applying additional coats. Laminating resin will stay tacky and allow additional coats without sanding. The final coat must be sealed to fully harden. I've used unscented hair spray with good results.

I don't believe this contains any wax. It is a moderately thick liquid in the bottle and it reacts with water, expanding to cure into a polyurethane "foam"-like substance. It bonds extremely well, and when cured, clean-up of any unwanted visible glue is fairly easy with a utility knife.
