Here's what that means for you: Wi-Fi compatibility: Supports: 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) Does NOT support: 5 GHz Wi-Fi or 5G cellular networks Why 2.4 GHz? 2.4 GHz provides longer range and better penetration through walls, which is ideal for outdoor cameras that may be far from your router Most home routers broadcast both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands — you'll just need to connect the Sync Module to the 2.4 GHz network during setup Important notes: The camera does not use cellular (5G/4G/LTE) — it requires a home Wi-Fi network If your router is a dual-band or tri-band router, simply select the 2.4 GHz network (often labeled with "2.4" or without the "5G" suffix) during setup No internet data plan is needed for the camera itself — just a standard home Wi-Fi connection We hope this helps!
