Can the batteries be used on other B & D tools?

I also bought the 36 volt hedge trimmer and the batteries are identical.

Was this Answer Helpful ?THE 18 VOLT IS MUCH SMALLER THE 36 VOLT. I DON'T THINK IT WOULD BE INTERCHANGEABLE.

Was this Answer Helpful ?Well at the moment I don't think B&D has any other tools that use a 36 volt battery to supply it. This battery is for this trimmer only. It's a stronger battery that most likly wont fit in any tool but if it did you would burn the toool from the votlage.
