can you buy a spare battery? if so how much is it?


Yes, spare batteries are available on the Lowe's website. I was going to buy one, but discovered I don't need it. One battery supplies a sufficient charge to trim around an acre-and-a-half yard.

I think it's about $60-$80, pricey. BUT, for a few more dollars, you can buy another B&D yard tool that uses the same battery. You will get a battery and a tool. It takes about an hour to charge, and if you only use one tool at a time, the battery will recharge in the amount of time that you are using the other one.
