How do we prevent the sun from coming in from the roof of the pergola?

That is a great question. The Pergolas are designed to have light come through the purlins. If you are interested in a enclosed roof you might want to be looking at a Gazebos. If you have any more questions feel free to contact us at 800-856-4445. We are here 7 days a week from 8AM-6PM CST.
