Is there an option for a double mailbox, possible using a spreader plate?

Hello, the Coolidge Black Steel Mailbox Post holds up to 13 lbs, so we recommend using a heavier duty in ground post such as the 5525B Architectural Mailboxes Black Steel Mailbox Post, since the spreader plate you will need for a double mailbox installation is Architectural Mailboxes Duo Spreader Plate Black (Lowe's Item # 299459) weighs about 10 lbs and the two mailboxes you plan to install onto the post may exceed the Coolidge Mailbox Post weight limit. The 5525B Post holds up to 250 lbs. Thanks for reaching out!
