According to the paperwork that came with my switch, yes. Here are the ratings:125 VAC 50/60hz 20A Resistive 250VAC 50/60Hz 10A, General Purpose 277VAC 50/60Hz 10A, General Purpose 125VAC 50/60Hz 7A Tungsten 125VAC 50/60Hz 1HP 250VAC 50/60Hz 2HP
Was this Answer Helpful ?It depends on the amperage load of the heater. As long as it is rated 20 Amps or under, you will be fine, presuming it is already on a circuit with sufficient headroom to bear the load.
