Is it loud?


It is about as loud as a lawn mower. Two of my neighbors have differant generators that were louder than my Generic.

Yes. It is loud. Found that out after borrowing it this week and having it run for 4 days while without power.

As there is no industry standard set for testing the sound output ratings of a portable generator, we are unable to provide decibel ratings for any of our portable units. However, with the low-tone muffler that is featured on many of our portables, we consider the sound output of these units to be comparable to portable models of alternative manufacturers.
