When placed in storage, we recommend keeping the unit in a warm, dry place. During operation, the unit should be placed outdoors, far away from any wall openings (i.e. windows, doors, vents, etc.), plantation or barriers. While the unit features outlets for single-load plug-ins, it can also be connected to your home through a manual transfer switch.
