The answer to my 11/08/2016 seems wrong. Says to use the oil included, but Generec manual says oil is not included. Also, oil depends on temp range.


Per the General Information section of the owner's manual for the RS5500 portable generator, model number 6672, a quart of SAE 30 weight oil should be included in the accessory bag. If you do not have an accessory bag, we would recommend contacting the company through which the product was purchased to inquire about your missing parts. To reiterate, SAE 30 oil should be utilized for the full extent of the unit's break-in period.
