can valspar exterior paint be used to paint over cleaned aluminum siding

Yes. It sticks really well to metal. I have painted aluminum, steel and concrete. After a week it is hard to remove even with a pressure washer.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I did my barn and a lot of it. Sticks to it like glue. So far so good. Painted 21 gallons with a spray a Graco spray painter I bought from them too. In fact I have never had any of my siding peel and I live in Arizona.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Wash Aluminum Siding with Ti-Sodium Phosphate before applying any paint. Using TSP will clean the aluminum from white wash and allow paint to adhere. This product can be found in any Lowe's.
