Chains are ideal for use in load binding or towing and sold by the foot. We sell high-tensile strength steel chains, low carbon steel and zinc-plated chains in a variety of link sizes. Wide link chains enable the usage of large chain accessories like interlocking spring snaps. Many chains aren't recommended for overhead lifting, so read the instructions and beware of load-bearing capacity.
For use in garage door repairs and tie-down applications, galvanized steel cable can be purchased in reels of up to 500 feet. Choose vinyl-coated cable to prevent product fraying and weathering. Most steel cable is not recommended for overhead lifting, and you'll also need to be mindful of its safe working load capacity.
You can find universal winches that are hand-operated or motorized. Heavy-duty motorized winches use steel cable that can pull up to 10,000 lbs. Hand winches are easy to carry and can use cable or tow straps for off-road vehicle rescue or farm chores like pulling stumps.
General-purpose rope is sold in natural fibers as well as polypropylene and other materials. Find multiple colors for a wide range of uses from outdoor landscaping to tie-down applications. Garden string or jute twine can secure young plantings, especially when strength is not a factor. Find reels in assorted sizes of up to hundreds of feet.
