The built in integral thermal protector provides positive protection against overlapping. This recessed housing also features an adjustable socket bracket to assure proper and consistent lamp positioning. The housing's 7-1/2 in. H allows for use in 2 in. x 8 in. joist construction and an integral flange secures the fixture against the ceiling. 4 remodel clips secure the housing and accommodate ceiling thickness from 1/2 in. to 5/8 in.
