After Google sundowned our perfectly working Nest Gen2 smart thermostat we went on the hunt mostly for a better company. Ecobee has proven to be that better company. Took a while to figure out how to get it working because of our unique wiring but finally did and Ecobee support was superb! Google support- no time for the customer.

This thermostat is just great. It has made a huge difference in our ability to regulate temperature in a very simple way - cooler at night and warmer during the day. Many thermostats can do that, but some are so complicated and so difficult to read because of dim screens and complex programming. I know this one can do more complex things than the competitors, but sometimes simpler is easier. And importantly, it is very bright and easy to see either day or night. My wife hates complex technology...

This device is awesome, and has a lot of great features I'm looking forward to using. Their customer service is on point and helped me nail my atypical existing wiring. Lowe's, however, sold me a returned product (without identifying it as such) that was missing the battery tab in the remote sensor - now I've got to go buy a random CR battery somewhere 🙄

I've waited to review the ECOBEE thermostat because I wanted to have some experience with the device after the initial setup. My experience was simply amazing. The packaging, setup instructions, and actual installation were all well thought out and customer friendly. This is a quality product from a quality manufacturer. I am glad I upgraded from the Nest product to Ecobee.
