The allen + roth Oyster Cotton Quartz Kitchen Countertop Sample was not what I was looking for for the countertops. Helps when you can get an actual sample of the material. The actual sample was nothing like the brochure pictures. Arrived in a few days from ordering.

Sample selection

Trying to figure out counters is a major investment. This piece that was sent to me was a good size sample although you still need to check out the whole slab before install. Sent fast and was niceley tucked in my mailbox.

Scratches easily

I love the look of this - love the marble look and liked that it was “scratch-resistant and stain-resistant” quartz. I ordered a sample and was easily able to scratch it - first I pressed really hard with the tip of a knife, then I pressed less hard, then I pressed gently as if I were dragging the knife across the surface.
