Great rug, but deceptive labeling
First, the rug is awesome. The jute is soft, well woven, and feels great under bare feet. The thing that bugs me is it is labeled as a seagrass rug, which is why I originally got it, seagrass is more durable. However, when looking at the label at home, the material is jute, which is definately NOT seagrass. Still love the rug, just not cool with the deceptive stuff.

An impressive, eye-catching accent rug
The Allen + Roth handmade seagrass rug looks great. I'm impressed with the workmanship. It feels very sturdy. It would look great in an entrance-way or as an accent in any room. It's relatively heavy and doesn't seem to slide when you walk on it.

Like soft grass underfoot
I am pleasantly surprised by the texture of this rug. I imagined the seagrass material to be stiff and rough, but this rug is soft and pliable and feels comfortable under bare feet. I wanted a circular rug to fill some floor space in my sun porch. The seagrass material suits the tiki(ish) decor and the spiral coils work well with the spiral pattern in the area rug underneath the table/chairs. This rug is very nice. I love the woven pattern n it’s a great centerpiece rug. I don’t know that it would be as large as it was but I love it. The color is also nice

Well made seagrass rug
Honestly I did not have high expectations for this rug base on based seagrass rugs I've bought online so I was pleasantly surprised by this one. It is quite thick and heavy. I ended up putting it on my front (covered) porch because I know it won't blow away in the wind. I don't know that it's really meant for outdoors so it remains to be seen how well it holds up. It's a pretty caramel color and seems very well made--the label says "handmade". I would buy this rug.
