The BFP-8F hose connection Vacuum Breaker is utilized in low health hazard applications such as service sinks, laundry tubs, and standard 3/4” hose bibs for protection against backsiphonage of polluted water through a garden hose. The BFP-8F includes a manual drain feature for freeze protection, and breakaway set screw to eliminate unauthorized removal. It has a maximum working water pressure of 125 psi and a maximum working water temperature of 180°F. Designed for hose bib attachment, BFP-8F materials include a brass valve body, buna nitrile elastomers, acetal polymers, and stainless steel internals, with an optional chrome finish.
